Our Story

We are preparing for our 6th growing season here in Sudbury, Vermont and we couldn't be more excited!  The past five years have been amazing, challenging and transforming for our farm business and our family.  Our first year on this farm was spent living in a hunting camp 1/4 mile up a switchbacked dirt road, hauling water from a spring in the winter and pitching our camping tent in the living room in the summer(pesky mosquitoes!) Since then we have moved into the old farmhouse on the property, built 4 greenhouses, bought a tractor and delivery van and expanded to 3 acres.  Every year we've been growing a little more as demand for our flowers has increased. And every year we are amazed by the incredible amount of support we receive from our  awesome community of farmers, florists, family and friends! We are committed to contributing beauty and joy to our community, growing our local economy and maintaining the integrity of the land we love.

We started our farming careers in Northern Arizona in 2010, and had our first farmers market booth selling salad greens. Seeking a more secure source of water we packed up our old truck and ventured to the Northeast.

For several years we worked on diversified farms in Massachusetts and Vermont.

When we landed at the farm in Sudbury we moved into a little hunting camp shown here. We spent our first farming season plowing up sod, hauling water, planting a diversity of vegetables and flowers and trying our hand at one too many farm enterprises!

As fortune in would have it in 2013 we connected with a wonderful couple interested in having us lease their multigenerational family farm land and use their horses to grow our flower and vegetable farm business.

We believe in the power of flowers to spread a message of love. Flowers have always held a special place in the lives of humans.  They mark the seasons, decorate special occasions, express feelings, and tell stories.  We grow flowers with texture, scent, unique colors and form. We love farming and are grateful for the opportunity to offer flowers that spark old memories and create new ones.
